Well, I am in the artillery. Our guns are the biggest. And that is what matters.

And yes, I've been making armour here pretty much since I got here. It's been alot of very small things since most of the wire that I find is about the size of a paper clip, but I've recently fond some that is thick enough to make very nice maille. I've also found these little pieces of steel that are about 3cm square that I'm bringing home. I think I'll make shoulder guards out of them.

I have said that I am Dominic in the US Army serving in Iraq. I wish to play an Orc that is basically the Moria orc but with influence from Warcraft orc. My concept is to play an armourer since I do some metal work and leather work. I posted a picture to prove that I am in fact in Iraq and mentioned that I've been making armour while being over here. I think that's about it. Sorry!

Ich möchte ein Orc, das im Allgemeinen das Moria orc, aber ist mit Einfluss vom Warcraft orc spielen. Mein Konzept ist, einen Armourer zu spielen, da ich etwas Metallarbeit und Lederarbeit erledige. okay...for me english is okay...i´d say it´s up to you if you (and your preferred translator )translate it into something like german ...or leave it as it is. people speaking no englisch, but willing to participate, will be translat0rd. uhm.

Ah Dominic, if you're having problems understanding our german posts here, because your translating tool is as bad in translating German into English as it is the other way round, tell me. 

I look at my own post through the translator and I have no idea what I had written. The translation program is obviously awful. I'm afraid that I don't have a better one however. I am trying to learn German, but I'm sure you know that I'm rather busy. And unfortunately I have not needed to say "the boy is small" yet in my post, which is about all that I know how to say. I can just barely understand the basic idea of what is written in German, if there is a better translation program I'd love to use it.

Ah Dominic, if you're having problems understanding our german posts here, because your translating tool is as bad in translating German into English as it is the other way round, tell me. 

The best "tool" would be that someone in this forum, who is capable of both English and German, just translates what needs translation.

How bad is your sight?
Are you intending on wearing your glasses while being an orc?

If you can do it without glasses, the Orc seems way cooler and more realistic.
If you definately need your glasses I would recommend a helmet or a mask above it.


In general usual proof is neither really helpful nor really needed, for those who believe you will believe you and those who don't.. Well, they won't anyway.

Until you put a picture of you dressed up as an orc online.
If it sucks, many will still think of you as a fake.
Comparable to the guy who wanted to play an Orc who lived together with elves...

It has to look too cool to waste it as a fake.

Or you could surprise us with your highly sophisticated way of writing, but that would result in many Germans not understanding you anymore.

My sight right now is so bad that I can't see to the end of my arm without my glasses. But the army is going to fix my eyes when I get back home.

I am thinking of getting some kind of contacts to enhance the look of my eyes and so that they seem less human. It will depend on what they cost.

As for proof, I don't mind. I like having my picture taken anyway. I don't care what people think, but atleast now you have the gift of seeing me. 

As for the guy who wants to play an Orc who lives with Elves, I can't really blame him. Elves are, after all, delicious.

As for my writing style, my mother was an English teacher. She was quite dedicated to the task of ensuring that we spoke both proper and understandable English. It was quite a task in this day and age. I decided to travel however, gaining new ways of speaking and spelling that drive her insane. It's how I roll. Bt I try and keep my english simple here on the forums. That way I can be understood.

How about pictures of some Uruk-Hai lauching the heavy artillery? 

I'd love to do that, but I don't think my sergeants would let me get away with it.

No, I hadn't planned on it. But I might try to get a post in Germany when I reenlist. I want Italy (to be close to Rome) but I don't think I'll get it. But I heard about the German Orks from a friend of mine on the internet, and I' glad to see it wasn't a lie. What are the different Ork clans? I tried looking at the web page, but it doesn't make any sense.
