Mein Freund und ich spiele Orks an einem System, in England, wie wir das Aussehen Ihres Events & Plan zur Teilnahme im nächsten Jahr.

Gibt es eine englische Version der Website?
Da die meisten Details werden auf uns als mein Deutsch ist verloren dire

Oder jemand bereit ist, über PM's mit uns chatten?
Unser Bausatz besteht aus einem recht anständigen & wir bleiben in Charakter, waren wir in Rollenspielen,
seit wir alt genug, um Würfel & durchhalten können selbst wir sind nur unsicher waren die Rollen eingerichtet.

I think it would Be No Problem if you Write in english.
One Thing you Might should know is that we do Not Play the warhammer Background.
We prefer lotr or the "Clan ork". You will find more then enough inspirations on this Site and of you have any questions Deep free to ask.

My apologies for the bad Googled German

We've moved away from the Warhammer ideal now (this was some years ago) & are far more Tribal.
The only issue I can see is us having problems understanding the various forums etc.
Is there a version in English, I doubt it eh?

unfortunately, we haven't a version of the site in English.
But I'm sure, some of us can translate some parts in which you're interested. Feel free to ask 

beeing the main forum of the german orccommunity, the forum itself was never an won´t be in english...
regarding further updates i´ll punch in the language-selector, so "foreign guests" can switch to a localized menu.
i/we may translate at least some of the forum-names .

the site (www.orklager.org), currently down for some updates, will have a small area for non-germans, focused on
introducing the orklager and givin´ a hand to join the major events in germany. should be done before may 2011. maybe

The Drachenfest looks pretty impressive.
‘The Gathering’ run by Lorien Trust which is our big Festival here in England is out big festival which we’ve been attending on & off for 15 years.

It’s difficult to know where to start re: asking question’s on your forums as we’ve no idea what any of them mean other than Googled 'help which is not ideal.

Is it broken down into Clan area’s…class specific? Inter clan rivalry I imagine?

Is there a costume specific area? It all looks very ‘Za Frumi’ & ZHM influenced & as you say LOTR, that is the benchmark eh?

Is everything covered in Tar & Hobbit’s brains for that authentic look…?

Yes, you find some forums for tribes, clans, and a composite of Clans (Bal-hai), which play by their own clan-backgrounds.

Also, there's one for LotR-orcs, aka Grat u Murdur - it contains 6 troops.

no, it is dirt, shoe polish, acrylic paint and stuff like that^^

I'm sorry, but this is not right. There are groups that play on a (modified) Warhammer Background, like Turach Clan or Bragtach.

Ok my mistake sorry.

...or the NightGoblins...or many people which are inspired by the warhammer-look...
there IS a decent warhammer influence in orkplay, although paired with the look that tends to be called the "lotr"-look...being the most easy look to achieve.
"rugged and dirty" is the most cost- and time-effective way to build an orc-costume. a decent lookin´ warhammer orc would need much more accessoires, more colours, more work at all. the standard-goodlokin´-orc nevertheless is achieved with less effort .
