2 orcs from belgium

Hello ORCS
We are two Belgians loving playing orcs from the last 6 years and this year we would like to join the other of our kind to DRACHENFEST to fire the plain with our kind. We speak French/English and have basis in German.
We are not sure having all informations to completely filled the orc’s requirement OHL ( equipment, mask, colour, tent, camp, teeth whatever). Below you will find picture of ourselves in our actual costumes. We are currently continuing improving our costume to join with german style( in Belgium orcs are more coloring and proper).
So first question : is it possible to join you in Drachenfest?
If yes : what’s your demand, what are the need

Hello and welcome here. At first: the orc camp on Drachenfest is the OCL (Ork Clan Lager)


For your registration you need better pictures. Its necessary that the orga could see your full gear including gloves, shoecover and neck cover. The quality of the first Foto is kinda blurry and the second one is without shoes.

Here you can find the registration of other OCL Membere. And you can open an Anmelde Thread. Each of you need their own Anmeldung. Create your Registration with

Rank : for example, Chief, Soldier etc (you can use your clan specific names for these Ranks)
Profession: for example Warrior,Scout, shaman etc)
Orc cons: ( like how much Larp conventions youre visit as orc)
Last check: (for how often you've got your check on OCL)

Con contribution: If you got your df card yet
Camp contribution: every member has to pay 10€, because the OCL is a camp whats complete organized by players. With these 10€ you will finance the camp decoration, plot pieces or the food for the building team who will build the camp on the weekend before Drachenfest, and much more.

Then put a clear photo of your gear in it.

Then the ocl orga can give you tipps to fit into the camp requirements.

And in addition to that my two cents to your gears.

All in all there not bad. Teeth are allowed but they arent necessary.

First picture: I like the vest and what i could figure out from the bracers.Cool pieces. All in all it seems that the hole gear needs more used look. The tunica could used more dirt, some rough stitches here and there ore some patches to let it look often repaired. Think about a second short sleeve Tunic you could wear between vest and long sleeve Tunic. Orcs are like ogres and ogres are like onions because of the layers

The second tunic could be very roughed up with bigger scratches and Holes.

The fur could need a dirty and greasy effect. Its easy.just put some dark coloured latex milk an rub it into the hair.

Are these In Time Shoes? Or is it a leather Cover over them? Its hard to see. Both opinions are ok.

Then the rest could use more dirt or a little roughed up action. Some patches on the trousers, the eges of your loincloth could youse the love of a Hammer or a saw.
The leg wraps are looking to clean on that Picture.


The second Pictures: The orga will need a picture of your shoes. The trousers looked good. Nice dirt an patces on it. I think the biggest construction site would be the whole bar ware stuff . The whole armour seemed to be from a typical larp shop. As an Orc you have to invest some time cover that bar ware look. What about to rough the whole thing up? Its leather. With hole pliers and a rough thread you could put some stitches in it. With a file or a hammer you can bring a used look over the hole surface or let some fur ooze out all the gaps on chest or shoulders. With dark shoe wax you can put some dirt on it.
